FAQ
What are the potential benefits of NAD+ therapy?
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell of your body. Supplementation is often used to support cellular energy production, improve mental clarity and focus, boost metabolism, regulate sleep cycles, and support anti-aging by repairing DNA.
What does "subcutaneous" injection mean?
Subcutaneous simply means "under the skin." Unlike intramuscular injections that go deep into the muscle, subcutaneous injections use a very small, thin needle to deliver the medication into the layer of fat just beneath the skin (usually the outer stomach area). It is generally considered a quick and painless process.
Do I have to meet with a provider?
Yes. Because NAD+ is a prescription medication, you must complete an assessment. Our medical team will review your history and health data to ensure you are a safe candidate before approving your order and shipping your kit.
Can my partner and I share a vial?
No. We are unable to allow sharing. Since we monitor every patient individually, prescriptions and vials are written specifically for the purchasing patient based on their unique health profile.
What are the requirements for approval?
To be approved for our at-home protocol, you must be at least 18 years old and generally healthy. You must confirm you have good heart, kidney, and liver function and have no medical history of the specific contraindications listed below.
For your safety, we cannot prescribe NAD+ if you have a history of:
* Active Cancer
* Bipolar Disorder
* Schizophrenia
* Heart Arrhythmia
* Pregnancy or Breastfeeding
* Allergy to Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
Who is NAD+ NOT for? (Contraindications)
For your safety, we cannot prescribe NAD+ if you have a history of:
* Active Cancer
* Bipolar Disorder
* Schizophrenia
* Heart Arrhythmia
* Pregnancy or Breastfeeding
* Allergy to Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
As well as, poor cardiac (heart), kidney, liver function.
What are the common side effects?
Most patients tolerate NAD+ very well. However, some may experience mild side effects including nausea, chest burning, increased heart rate, fatigue immediately following the dose, lightheadedness, or minor redness/sensitivity at the injection site. We recommend eating before the injection and having enough time to sit and relax for 30-60 min following the injections, especially when first starting.
We will provide you with more specific instructions personalized to you with our consultation.
How often do I administer the injections?
Your frequency will depend on your specific goals and the individualized protocol created for you by our medical team. Detailed instructions will be provided in your patient portal once you are approved.
What is your refund policy?
Due to the nature of medical prescriptions and pharmacy regulations, we do not offer refunds once an order has been placed. Additionally, we do not offer refunds on subscription commitments. Please make sure to read about our contraindications prior to purchasing.
What happens if I miss my required monthly check-in?
Your safety is our priority. If you hold a 3, 6, or 12-month subscription and miss your mandatory monthly check-in, we will pause the shipment of your next kit until the check-in is complete.
Please note: You will still be charged for the subscription month based on the parameters of your agreement, even if the shipment is delayed due to a missed check-in.
